EOC Information
The Georgia Milestones End of Course (EOC) tests are a state mandated test that counts as 20% of a student’s grade. Students currently enrolled in ELC II, Algebra C&C, Biology, or U.S. History will participate. (Students taking U.S. History via Dual Enrollment do not take this assessment.)
Students who are not testing will follow the WHHS normal bell schedule and will still attend their regular classes!
- Once a student begins a test session, they must complete it during that session. Please review the testing schedule with your student to ensure they are present for the entire testing period.
- Students attending a school-required function during testing will be excused and scheduled for a make-up session.
- Teachers will share testing locations the week prior to testing.
- Phones and any other personal electronic devices (including Smart Glasses or smart watches) are not permitted during testing.
- Students must use a school-issued Chromebook. Please ensure your student brings a fully charged Chromebook and charger on their testing day.
- Students who normally use a personal device will be provided a school Chromebook for testing.
Off Campus Programs:
- Dual Enrollment students who have an EOC during an EOC scheduled testing block should report to their regular off-campus location. They will be assigned a make-up testing session.
- All other off-campus program students (LCCA, WBL, Early College/Ivester, etc.) are required to report for their scheduled EOC test.
- LCCA and Early College programs will excuse students from their off-campus commitments for testing. WBL students should coordinate with their employers in advance to avoid any conflicts with the testing schedule.
- If a student finishes testing during a time when they would normally be off campus, they should report to the front lobby until their next WHHS class period.
