Taking the PSAT in 10th grade offers students an early opportunity to experience standardized testing in a low-stakes environment, helping them build confidence and test-taking skills. It provides valuable feedback on academic strengths and areas for improvement, which can guide future study strategies. Additionally, the PSAT can help students qualify for advanced coursework and scholarship opportunities, including the National Merit Scholarship Program in 11th grade.
