Both 9<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0and 10<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0grade students learn how to critically and reflectively think by participating in our Philosophy of Learning extension activities.\u00a0In addition, students actively participate in service community-related opportunities. Students who engage in service-learning opportunities develop a creatively-designed journal detailing their experience to be open-minded and knowledgeable thinkers.\u00a0Student enrichment activities offered to program participants lead to the development of a driven, academically-prepared student.\u00a0 While many of our i<sup>2<\/sup>\u00a0courses are designed to provide preparation for students transitioning to the International Baccalaureate Diploma or Career-related Programme, participants are also well-prepared for Advanced Placement, Dual Enrollment, and Honors coursework opportunities during their junior and senior years of high school.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Freshmen participate in Honors World History, Honors Biology, and Honors World Literature. Sophomore students participate in AP Language and Composition, Honors Chemistry, and Honors Government and Economics. During the tenth grade, students focus on academic preparation for future secondary academic endeavors.
